Ameloblast

Ameloblast (অ্যামেলোব্লাস্ট) হলো এমন বিশেষায়িত কোষ যা দাঁতের এনামেল (Enamel) তৈরি করে।

সংজ্ঞা

Ameloblast হলো ectodermal origin-এর কোষ, যা enamel organ থেকে উৎপন্ন হয়ে দাঁতের এনামেল গঠনের দায়িত্ব পালন করে।

উৎপত্তি

আসে Inner Enamel Epithelium (IEE) থেকে

দাঁত গঠনের bell stage-এ স্পষ্টভাবে পার্থক্যকরণ (differentiate) হয়

Enamel matrix তৈরি করা

Enamel mineralization (Ca²⁺ ও phosphate জমা)

Ameloblast ধ্বংস হলে পুনরায় তৈরি হয় না

তাই এনামেল repair বা regenerate হয় না

ক্লিনিকাল গুরুত্ব

Ameloblast ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হলে → Enamel hypoplasia / hypocalcification

Ameloblastoma হলো ameloblast থেকে উৎপন্ন একটি odontogenic tumor.
